Trip Journal 5.6 for iPhone just hit the App Store with improvements and features! Here they are:

We added Facebook Connect to Trip Journal for iPhone to make it easier for you to export your adventures with Trip Journal to Facebook. We also added Facebook export buttons to the trip view and to the current trip view; just a tap and your photos, notes and trip route are on Facebook;
We added custom fonts, for the vintage touch;
We temporarily removed Google Maps until we fix the bugs issued with the iOS 4.2 release .

Trip Journal is nominated for the Mobile Premier Awards

On Monday, December 13, our team presented Trip Journal at the AppCircus showcase during the MobileMonday live event in Bucharest. The audience chose Trip Journal as the nominee for Mobile Premier Awards 2011 during the Mobile World Congress, which will be held in Barcelona, on February 14, 2011.

The Mobile Premier Awards are among the most influential events in the mobile industry and the point of reference in early-stage innovation during the Mobile World Congress.

An international jury of the most recognized mobile industry experts will select the 20 finalists from all the local AppCircuses held during 2010 to showcase their app in a 3-minute pitch at the event in Barcelona in front of investors, operators, media companies, peer entrepreneurs, and press and influential bloggers.

AppCircus is a unique global travelling showcase of the most creative and innovative apps presented by their creators during some of the most influential international events in mobile/web.
