Android users have a good reason to revel: a new version of Trip Journal is available now. The upgrade is free for all current users and it includes new features like:
- Manual waypoints
- Contact List Integration
- Froyo Support (copy application to SDCard)
With Manual waypoints, you can place a waypoint wherever you want on the map jus by dragging it. And you can also change timestamps for these waypoints, so you can now record that incredible place you just missed at the time you were there.
Contact List Integration refers to the ability to select from your smartphone’s contacts directory, the people you want to send the Google Earth Export to. Instead of entering their email address, we have now introduce the ability to select them from your Contacts. When tapping Select recipients, you have two options: to import from Address Book or to Add by typing contact details. The contacts are saved in the Trip Journal memory and can be used for future exports.
Trip Journal harnesses the new features of Froyo, enabling users to move Trip Journal from the SD card to internal storage and back from the manage application settings.
So hurry up and get the latest update of Trip Journal 5.1 for Android!
